Tesla Cybertruck Update: Tesla Cybertruck is on its Way to Launch in Mid-2023

In 2019, Elon Musk unveiled the company’s first electric pickup “Tesla CyberTruck” at a big event held in Los Angeles, California. He said the truck would have three core versions with 250 miles, 300 miles, and 500 miles range, starting with $39,900. The production of Cybertruck was said to be started in late 2021. In august 2021, the company set forth a delay until 2022, and then during the earnings call in January, Musk further pushed the prediction to “Hopefully next year.”

“If we were to introduce new vehicles, our total vehicle output would decrease,” Musk said. “We will not be introducing new vehicle models this year.”

Meanwhile, Tesla rivals Rivian and Ford have introduced their electric pickups Rivian – R1T; now ford is all set to launch 150000 F-150 lightning in 2023.

Tesla Cybertruck: Overview

Revealed in 2019, It cost 140000 pounds for a 500 miles range truck, starting from $39,900 for the cheapest one. Tesla Cybertruck 2023: What’s new for us?

This EV will have not only one or two but three electric motors. The company claims that the truck will go from 0 to 60 mph in merely 6.5 seconds with a single motor, while the truck with dual motors will reach 60 mph in 4.5 seconds, topping out at 120 mph. Now the ultimate performance comes with 3 motors that will go from 0 to 60 mph in just 2.9 seconds and have a top speed of 130 mph. This pickup will be a formidable off-road machine with an adjustable air suspension, 35 degrees approach, and a 28-degree departure angle.

Tesla Warns About the Prices and Specs

However, the company has removed its specs and pricing revealed last year from its website but is expected to be highly pricy with powerful specs.

Cybertruck pricing was unveiled in 2019, and the reservation was $99 – and a lot of changed since then. The specs and the pricing will be different. I know it’s a little bit of bad news, but there was no way to anticipate the inflation that happened and various issues, but what I can say is that Cybertruck is going to be one hell of a product. It’s going to be a damn fine machine.” Musk said in a meeting with Tesla’s shareholders.

During the meeting, the CEO of Tesla emphasized on starting the production of Electric Truck in mid-2023, adding, “We are going to be installing production equipment in the coming months.

It is also reported that Tesla is building its truck at Gigafactory Texas in Austin, and Idra will deliver a giant Giga press designed to create CyberTruck’s body.
