Likewise, on 1st October, the Prime Minister of India used India’s new 5G technology to test drive a car in Europe using only the internet.
Potential of 5G
As a part of India’s “Internet for all” campaign, the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, inaugurated the landmark launch of 5G services in India. This means that India sets foot in a new historical era and becomes one of the world’s leading internet providers. This also means that the launch of 5G opens up India’s entrance into the Metaverse, Internet of Things, Blockchain, and Robotics. The three major telecom operators that will provide the facilities will be Reliance, Airtel, and Vodafone, and they will be available in 8 cities across India.
India has already started work on e-health solutions, connected vehicles, advanced mobile cloud gaming, and much more. During the event, the Prime Minister of India used the new technology to test drive a car that was located in Europe. The fact that the 5G technology can be used in this way opens a new realm of research and potential for India and the world.
