Ubisoft announced Assassin’s Creed Codename red as mainline entries in the AC franchise a week ago. It promised to be the next evolution of the franchise as the fans will experience the future of the RPG title set during Feudal Japan. Ubisoft has decided to share more details about the game as it is creating a lot of fuss among AC fans. Assassin’s Creed Codename red is the open-world RPG design of the franchise. The creative director Jonathan Dumont has developed it at Assassin’s Creed Syndicate and Assassin’s Creed Odyssey developer Ubisoft Quebec.
Assassin’s Creed Codename Red is an Open-World RPG that meets Expectations
Ubisoft announced AC’s three AC projects, Codename Jade, Codename Hexe, and Codename Red. Ubisoft has confirmed that both Codename Hexe and Red will be part of the Assassin’s Creed Infinity platform. Assassin’s Creed Codename Red is going to be the major installment to the AC series. The concept of Shinobi life in Feudal Japan has the internet on fire. Fans are keen to know more about the game platform as Ubisoft has finally paid a visit to Feudal Japan. Fans have been asking for the setting in Japan, and finally, their expectations are fulfilled as they will be able to live out “shinobi fantasy.” The sources have indicated that the game will be in a new RPG direction like Odyssey, AC Valhalla, and Origins. It is the third period of Assassin’s Creed Codename Red.
“I don’t want to spoil too much of what our creative teams are working on,” says Côté. “However, from a technological point of view, these are games that will benefit from a tremendous increase in fidelity with all the improvements that we’re working on with this new iteration of the Anvil pipeline, so you can just imagine it being a very next-generation approach to RPGs, at least from a graphical-fidelity point of view. But it will take all the learnings that we’ve had from Odyssey and Valhalla to epitomize the best of what we can do at Ubisoft in terms of RPGs.”
What is the future of Assassin’s Creed Codename Red?
Ubisoft Assassin’s Creed Codename Red is not just giving Feudal Japan exploration through the game but also attempting to give new experiences to the players. Through Assassin’s Creed Infinity, Ubisoft is trying to bring the in-game tech. Assassin’s Creed Multiplayer is coming back as a standalone title. It will be very interesting for hardcore game players to see the kinds of game modes in the current codenamed INVICTUS and how it will be incorporated into the AC infinity model.
“People have asked for the return of multiplayer, but they’ve also asked for us not to compromise the quality of our single-player experiences,” says Côté. “By making sure that we have different teams that are in charge of these experiences and unifying them at the INFINITY Hub level, we can fulfill those two desires.”
With Ubisoft’s details, the AC franchise’s future looks bright. When Alexis Côté, the Vice President and Executive Producer of the AC brand, was asked for his remarks about the future of the AC franchise, he excitedly said, “brilliant.” Well, there is no doubt the future of the AC franchise looks bright as it launched the most awaited versions of it.
“I think the future of Assassin’s Creed can be an intelligent form of entertainment in the sense that I have hope that, through opening the eyes of people without moralizing, without being didactic, by opening their eyes to the past and the different paths that all people on earth have had, we can better understand the present that we share,” says Côté.
Assassin’s Creed has made its fans happy with the official news of the Assassin’s Creed Codename red. The future is hopeful and bright where people can understand the franchise’s past and current initiatives.
